बहुत कम लोग जानते हैं कि लखनऊ में भगवान श्री अयप्पा का बहुत ही जागृत मंदिर है , जहाँ पर विशेष मंत्र तंत्र द्वारा ईश्वर को जागृत रूप में रखा गया है। भगवान अयप्पा के दर्शन मात्र से हमें सुख-शांति की प्राप्ति होती है जिसे आप तुरंत महसूस करेंगे। दक्षिण भारत के पुरोहित ब्राह्मण, पंडितों द्वारा प्रतिदिन विशेष पुजा की जाती है। जातक अपने ग्रह नक्षत्रों का विशेष पूजा विधि द्वारा पूजा करवाकर अपने दुख संकट से मुक्त हो जाते हैं।

भगवान गणेश, भगवान श्री अयप्पा, भगवान शिव, भगवान श्रीराम, श्री बजरंगबली, श्री नागदेवता, माँ काली, माँ दुर्गा (नारायणी) , नवग्रहों का परम आशीर्वाद  इस मंदिर पर है।

लखनऊ स्थित श्री अयप्पा मंदिर पर एक विशेष लेख प्रस्तुत हैः-

मंदिर की विशेषताएं अवधारणाएं एवं रख रखाव महत्व :-

मानव शरीर पंच तत्वों से बने महान ब्रह्मांड का एक छोटा संस्करण मात्र है। मानव शरीर  का रूप ही आलंकारिक रूप से सर्वोच्च व्यक्ति या मंदिर के शरीर के रूप के लिए अनुकूलित है। क्षेत्र/देवालय (मंदिर) मानव शरीर की एक प्रतिकृति है।

मंदिर के द्वार (गोपुर) को देव के चरणो के रूप में माना जाता है, एवं गर्भगृह को देवता सिर के रूप में माना गया है।

पांच प्रकार, इस भौतिक शरीर के अन्दर चमकने वाले देवता के भौतिक या भौतिक शरीर का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं, जो कि गर्भगृह हैं, एवं जो देवता के अभौतिक सूक्ष्म शरीर का निर्माण करती है। इस सूक्ष्म शरीर में जो कुछ पवित्रता की चेतना है वह चेतना परमात्मा (परम आत्मा) है।

विश्वकर्म्यम में, पारंपरिक मंदिर कला पर एक अन्य पुस्तक आदिम में (गर्भगृह) को सिर के रूप में चित्रित किया गया है एवं मंदिर के अंदर का मार्ग गर्भगृह के चारों ओर चेहरे के रूप में जाना जाता है। उठा हुआ फर्श जहाँ से प्रार्थना की जाती है, गर्दन के रूप में देवता जाने जाते हैं। चतुर्भुज निर्माण गर्भगृह और उसके मार्ग को भुजाओं की स्थिति के रूप में घेरते हुए, बाहरी आस-पास का मार्ग को देवता के अनुचर को उदर  के रूप में स्थापित किया जाता है।

मंदिर के बाहरी चारदीवारी जोड़ों और टखनों के रूप में प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। गोपुरम देवता के चरणों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। इसके लिए एक मात्र दर्शन से व्यक्ति पवित्र व सभी पापों से मुक्त हो जाता है। बाहरी बॉउण्ड्री दीवार पानी के बर्तन के आकार का है। मंदिर एक बर्तन है, जो ईश्वरीय आत्मा और पवित्रता से भरा है। 

उस पर यज्ञ (बाली) करने के लिए आंतरिक गोलाकार सपाट पत्थर का खंड, देवता के सूक्ष्म अभौतिक शरीर के दायरे में स्थित है। भगवान श्री अयप्पा मंदिर में  (प्रमुख) दिशाओं के दस देवतागण संरक्षक के रूप में विराजमान है।

इन्हें गर्भगृह के दक्षिण में भी देखा जा सकता है। नौ प्रतिष्ठान सात माताओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं , जो ब्रह्मांड और वीरभद्र और गणपति जी पर सटीक नियंत्रण रखते हैं। सूक्ष्म शरीर का  सबसे निचला अंग मूलाधार चक्र है , जो मानव प्रणाली के छह प्रमुख आधारों में से एक हैं।

आध्यात्मिक शास्त्रों (तत्वमीमांसा) में निर्धारित गाइड लाइन के आधार पर मंदिरों का निर्माण किया जाता है। महान संतों की सलाह का पालन करते हुए आचार संहिता और धार्मिक संस्कारों के पालन से ही मानव शरीर को बनाए रखा जा सकता है। मंदिर (देवालय) आचार संहिता और धार्मिक अभ्यास सीखने के लिए एक विद्यालय है।

देवालय या मंदिर भक्तों पर आशीर्वाद बरसाने में सक्षम है। यह एक साइकिक इंजीनियरिंग का भी कमाल का कारनामा है।

अपने मन को नियंत्रित करने के लिए एक सामान्य व्यक्ति को आमने-सामने प्रतिबिंब की आश्यकता होती है।

इसकी सहायता से उसे मन की एकाग्रता का अभ्यास करना होता है और दिव्य ऊँचाइयों तक पहुंचना होता है।

इसे मूर्तिपूजा सूक्ष्म शक्ति के माध्यम से आंतरिक मंडल को ऊपर उठाने और ब्रह्मंडीय शक्ति से जोड़ने में सहायक होती है धार्मिक सेवाओं से संबंधित आधुनिक विज्ञान और शास्त्र भी उपरोक्त दृष्टिकोण को कायम रखते हैं।

मंदिर एक ऐसा बिन्दु है, जहाँ पर ईश्वरीय शक्ति कण-कण में व्याप्त होती है यह मानव जाति के लाभ के लिए, ताप बिन्दु को अभिसरण करने के लिए बनाई जाती है। यही मंदिरों का उदेश्य है।

कला व विज्ञान का उददेश्य मानव जीवन को लयबद्ध और आनंदमय बनाना है। महान संतों ने खोज की है कि सांस्कृतिक और अध्यात्मिक उत्थान के लिए ब्राम्हांड की शक्ति का आवहान किया जा सकता है और भौतिक वस्तुओं में खींचा जा सकता है और मानव जाति के लाभ उत्थान के लिए उपयोग में किया जा सकता है। आधुनिक विज्ञान इस सत्य का पहचानने लगा है।

आधुनिक विज्ञान ने प्रमाणित किया है की आप के आधुनिक युग में तुलसी का पत्ता बड़ी मात्रा में ऑक्सीजन के उत्पादन और वातावरण को शुद्ध करने की क्षमता रखता है। इस तथ्य को 3000 ईसा पूर्व से भी पहले महान ऋषियों और आयुर्वेदिक विशेषज्ञों द्वारा स्पष्ट किया गया है।

कारोडों लोग सबरीमाला, गुरूवयूर , बद्रीनाथ, काशी आदि जैसे पवित्र स्थानों की यात्रा करते हैं। यात्रा के दौरान एक अजीबोगरीब ईश्वरीय वास्तविकता मन में एक सांस्कृतिक पहलु को जन्म देती है और आध्यात्मिक भावनाओं को जगाती है जो हर एक को सांस्कृतिक और अध्यात्मिक ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाती है।

सभी विज्ञानों की उत्पत्ति मानवता और प्रेम के कल्याण को प्राप्त करने के अंतिम लक्ष्य पर आधारित  है। सभी कलाओं का उदेश्य आध्यात्मिक रहस्योद्घाटन है। यह वह रहस्योदघाटन है जिसे हम मंदिर से अनुभव करते हैं।

आज मनुष्य कई कारणों से मानसिक संघर्षों, समस्याओं से जूझ रहा है। इन समस्याओं का विनाश मंदिर के दीयों की दीप्ति वायु में फैली धूप की सुगुन्ध और वाद्यों से उत्पन्न संगीत की तरंगे करती हैं एवं अवर्णनीय आनन्द का निर्माण करती हैं।

मनुष्य के मन की दो प्रवृत्तियां होती हैं। 1-एक स्वार्थी होना और एक अंतमुर्खी होना। 2- दूसरी प्रवृत्ति में अध्यात्मिक रूप से आगे बढ़ना। स्वार्थ अल्पकालिक सुख देता है और वह भी माया है। वास्तव में, अंतिम परिणाम प्रतिद्वंदिता और दर्द है। अध्यात्मिक अनुभूति स्वार्थ के विपरीत परिवर्तन के लिए एक प्रेरणा है। आत्म-साक्षात्कार या आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान इन विशेष शक्तियों को साकार करने का आग्रह है जो मनुष्य की कल्पना से परे है और हमारी रक्षा करती है।?

मंदिरों की स्थापना मंत्र तंत्र,वास्तु शास्त्र, की युक्तियों से की जाती है जिससे की देव मूर्तियों में दिव्य शक्ति का आवाह्न कर वैज्ञानिक प्रक्रिया को विकसित कर स्थापित किया जाता है मंदिरों के संसाधनों का उपयोग मनुष्य के अध्यात्मिक उत्थान के लिए जाना चाहिए।

 मंदिर के संसाधनों का उपयोग आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान की उन्नति के लिए एवं मनुष्य व स्कूलों की सेवा में वहां की गतिविधियों में उपयोग कर एक आध्यात्मिक क्षेत्र की स्थापना करनी चाहिए।

मंदिर में उत्सवों का एकमात्र उददेश्य मन में आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों को संजोकर और उन्हें प्रस्फुटिक करके हमारे मन को उत्सव का मंच बनाना है।

जिस शरण में हमारी इच्छाएं और कष्ट खुले तौर पर प्रकट होते हैं, वह परमात्मा है, जो हमारी आत्मा के सबसे निकट हैं वह परमात्मा है, जो हमारी आत्मा के सबसे निकट है।

हम देवता को जो कुछ अर्पित करते हैं, उसे उपहार के रूप में नहीं माना जाना चाहिए। यह किसी की क्षमता के अनुसार केवल एक ईमानदार समर्पण है। यदि कोई जो करता है उसका प्रचार किया जाता है, तो समर्पण उसका मूल्य खो देता है।

ज्ञान और आत्म-प्राप्ति मंदिरों का रखरखाव मंदिरों की सुरक्षा में मुख्य कारक मंदिर की संरचना और उसके भीतर की मूल आध्यात्मिक शक्ति का संरक्षण है। विश्राम तो केवल दिखावा और अलंकार है।

जिसके अलग होने का कोई मतलब नहीं है। संरक्षण के संबंध में एक अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कारक बुनियादी शक्ति के पोषण के लिए आवश्यक तकनीकी विशेषज्ञों को तैयार करना और लोगों की शक्ति का निर्माण करना है।

आज वेलियाथुनाडु (आदि शंकर की माता का जन्मस्थान) में मंत्र विद्यापीडम कांची के मार्गदर्शन में प्रशंसनीय सेवा कर रहा है।

मंदिर केवल ईटों, सीमेंट और अन्य निर्माण सामग्री से निर्मित संरचनाएं नहीं हैं। वे सटीक वैज्ञानिक गणना के अनुसार डिजाइन किये गये हैं।

मानव शरीर का एक प्रतीकात्मक प्रतिबिंब है, और पवित्र के अनुसार स्थापित है। यह आध्यात्मिक शक्ति का भंडार है। जो मंत्र तंत्र के माध्यम से आचार्य के शरीर से आग की लपेटों में उठी दैनिक पूजा और उत्सव ऊपर उल्लिखित जमा की हिरासत और पोषणों के लिए है।

देवीय शक्ति की किसी भी कमी से भक्तों और समाज के सदस्यों के बीच  कलह और फूट पड़ जाएगी।

मंदिर संरक्षण समिति का मूूल पहलू धर्मग्रन्थों को सीखने और मंदिर के दैनिक दर्शन से उत्साहित भक्तों का एक संघ है।

लखनऊ में भगवान श्री अयप्पा मंदिर के निर्माण में तंत्र समुच्चय में विशिष्टिताओं के अनुसार किया गया है और अभी भी बहुत कुछ किया जाना बाकी है।

Features and maintenance of the temple

Significance: The human body is just a smaller version of the great universe made up of the five elements. The form of the human body itself is figuratively adapted to the form of the body of the Supreme Person or the temple. The kshetra/devalaya (temple) is a replica of the human body. The entrance of the temple (gopura) is considered as the feet of the deity, and the sanctum sanctorum is considered as the head of the deity. The five types represent the physical or physical body of the deity that shines within this material body, which is the sanctum sanctorum, and which forms the immaterial subtle body of the deity. Whatever is the consciousness of purity in this subtle body, that consciousness is Paramatma (Supreme Atman).

In Visvakarmyam, another book on traditional temple art, the primitive (garbhagriha) is depicted as the head and the passage inside the temple is known as the face around the sanctum. The raised floor from which the prayers are offered is known as the neck of the deity. The quadrilateral construction enclosing the sanctum sanctorum and its passage as the position of the arms, the outer adjoining passage is established as the abdomen for the deity's retainer. The outer boundary walls of the temple are represented in the form of joints and ankles. The gopuram represents the feet of the deity. For this, a person becomes pure and free from all sins by a mere darshan. The outer boundary wall is shaped like a water pot. The temple is a vessel, filled with divine spirit and purity.

The inner circular flat stone block for performing the Yagya (Bali) on it, is situated within the realm of the subtle immaterial body of the deity. In the Lord Sri Ayyappa temple, the ten deities of the (major) directions are seated as protectors. These can also be seen to the south of the sanctum. The nine Pratishthans represent the seven mothers, who have precise control over the universe and Virabhadra and Ganapati ji. The lowest part of the subtle body is the Muladhara Chakra, one of the six main bases of the human system. Temples are built on the basis of the guide line laid down in the spiritual scriptures (metaphysics). The human body can be maintained only by following the advice of great sages and following the code of conduct and religious rites. The temple (devalaya) is a school for learning the code of conduct and religious practice. The Devalaya or temple is capable of showering blessings on the devotees. This is also a wonderful feat of psychic engineering. A normal person needs face to face reflection to control his mind. With the help of this one has to practice concentration of mind and reach to divine heights.

In this, idolatry helps in raising the inner circle through subtle energy and connecting it with cosmic energy. Modern science and scriptures related to religious services also maintain the above view. The temple is such a point, where the divine energy pervades every particle, it is built to converge the point of heat, for the benefit of mankind. That is the purpose of temples. The purpose of art and science is to make human life rhythmic and joyful. The great sages have discovered that the power of the universe for cultural and spiritual uplift can be invoked and drawn into material objects and harnessed for the benefit of mankind. Modern science is beginning to recognize this truth. Modern science has proved that in your modern era, basil leaves have the ability to produce large amounts of oxygen and purify the atmosphere. This fact has been clarified by great sages and Ayurvedic experts even before 3000 BC.

This is the revelation that we experience from the temple. Today man is struggling with mental conflicts, problems due to many reasons. The human mind has two tendencies. One being selfish and one being an introvert. 2- To move spiritually in the second trend. Selfishness gives short-term pleasure.
